Review of Atomic Empire

Let me start off by saying this has nothing to do ...

Let me start off by saying this has nothing to do with customer service. In that aspect Atomic Empire is good. They respond to my concerns and requests in a timely fashion. I live in NJ so everything I order from them has to be shipped to me from NC. Since the middle of 2018 I have placed 6 orders with Atomic Empire. Out of the 6 orders, 5 of them have come damaged. Some worse than others and require a return/refund. They ship the books in what appears to be the cheapest 2 pieces of cardboard (my honest opinion) I've ever seen in side a grey bag. I place many book orders on sites like eBay, Boom Studios, Mid Town Comics, etc and have never encountered such a constant issue. I have suggested to the staff they look into a better shipping method to avoid this happening (Gemini boxes for example). I just received my new order today and the book is damaged. I have requested another refund/return as the book is sold out. This is typically the case as it sells out by the time my book arrives, causing me to place an order with a different site. I know that USPS is not the most reliable form of delivery when it comes to handling packages, but when you send it in a flimsy package it doesn't help. Unfortunately, I will stop placing orders from Atomic Empire. I think I gave them a fair chance but enough is enough. I rather pay $5.00 to $7.00 extra for books including shipping if it means they will arrive safely and I don't have to request refunds or keep damaged books.
