We found the room amenities to be good but the lack of comfortable chairs to sit in was a problem. The pull out bed, set up as a couch, was totally uncomfortable for sitting. Management gave us an extra dining chair but two comfortable armchairs would be much better and much more in keeping with hotel of the stature of Shangri La. My wife was quite ill on our last day and the extension of our check out to 4pm was greatly appreciated. A very big tick for that
