Highly unprofessional. All formalities and requirements from my end were completed and met upto very promptly. My buddy in Italy too was cooperative and sweet. However, just prior to my visa appointment, Aiesec decides to make changes in my accomodation (and I was not aware of this until the night before my appointment) which led to a lot of complications in my visa process and my visa was ultimately rejected. When I got back to my buddy, telling her that my visa was rejected, she said "Oh this normally happens to people coming to Italy from India" and I didn't have anything else to say to her at that point. If it was a known fact then why wasn't I informed well in advance? I would have changed my location and decided to do my project elsewhere in that case.
My experience was extremely stressful and messy.
