Where is the choice for zero star rating? Standard Security Life of NY should be able to be given zero stars.

My wife contacted an insurance broker (mistake #1) and they offered health insurance. No mention in the lengthy phone call that it was Standard Security Life but all that was mentioned over and over was "UShealth Medical Insurance". Deception? Yes. Misleading? Yes. Illegal? Yes.

What they play is a shell game. To date we have never received any documentation on the policy. Not via mail or email. We did however get a letter from EBIX Health Administration Exchange which said the auto draft did not go through. Who the He'll is this new connection? Calling any of them, including Standard Security Insurance of NY is a waste of time and actually getting into the system to attempt to cancel the policy is almost impossible.

So what is the solution? Go to your bank and mark any attempt by these companies as attempted fraud and bar them from accessing your accounts. Then, of course, go to a reputable insurance agent and get a policy from a company you and the world know.
