I didn't know what to expect from the New York Historical Society; I must admit, the name doesn't inspire much. Dull name aside, the museum offers a bunch of interesting exhibits, featuring artwork ranging from the founding fathers' era to the early twentieth century. Exhibits are beautifully curated and do a good job at engaging the audience. We really enjoyed our visit.
