Waited two hours for food even after checking with...

Waited two hours for food even after checking with the waitress after one hour. She said the kitchen is backed up and it would be out. After hour two, I talked to a man who may have been a manager. He informs me that some of the checks have been lost?! That his honest assessment of when we would get our food was probably at least another half hour because there are people ahead of us and that as I can see they are busy. I highly doubt anyone else was as dumb as us to wait that long!! His lack of concern about the fact that a patron has been in his establishment for 2 hours with a child on top of it is unacceptable. He comped the food but we would have paid for it. It would have been nice to maybe get a free appetizer since we were starved and my son was in tears. Chips and salsa or even a refill on the waters that had ran out after hour one may have showed some amount of sympathy. Thanks again for the free meal but having a manager act like him giving us our meal free after two hours then makes it ok to wait another 30 minutes isn t ok. Oh, and we didn t even have silverware to eat with. Thanks for a frustrating night.
