I have always been interested in owning a truck but figured I would hold off a few years to seriously look at acquiring one (I just bought 2 new cars on October 2012). I've never been that particular in the latest model year as I generally run my cars into the ground so was looking at 2012 "leftovers" to see if I could score a great deal. Quite honestly, I was looking for every reason not to buy another vehicle but when I saw the 2012 GMC Sierra advertised, I thought I would at least stop by and see if I could get a once in a lifetime deal that I wouldn't necessarily be able to match sometime down the road. Parma is extremely out of my way and I have a long history with Marhofer Chevrolet in Stow so if I had my druthers, I would have preferred to stay close to home but Axelrod had the 2012 truck so I took a drive to see what I could negotiate. I made an embarrassingly low offer to my salesman which brought the Sales Manager out to check out what kind of clown he was dealing with. I gave Brett Leek my rationale for my offer and we used that as a starting point to work out a deal that I thought was fair and equitable. Brett was absolutely phenomenal to deal with and would be the main reason I would consider coming back as well as recommending my friends to Axelrod. I now have 3 cars - 2008 Tiburon with 7000 miles (summer car), 2013 Sonata with 1500 miles and my 2012 Sierra with 2100 miles. As much as I didn't "need" the Sierra, I am so proud and excited to have a truck and am satisfied with the way that I was treated by Brett and the Axelrod dealership!
