Apparently after reading these reviews they have changed how the office staff works. For my visit the office staff were the only bright part of the visit. There was a very pleasant young man working the desk and he was very kind and helpful. Everything he said was with a smile and he really seemed to have a great personality to be working with the public.
I had called earlier about a question I had and was called back within the next 20 minutes. I did not really have a problem getting an appointment either and had called three other times and always had someone answer the phone, so for that I am giving one star.
The office visit though, I was just completely bewildered by. The Dr had come recommended to us and by more than one person in fact, so I was surprised that our visit was so odd and felt so off kilter.
I really don't like to call people out personally, so I will just say this - if you are coming here for a child, looking for advice and or ADD/ADHD - please, make the effort to just go to Children's and get on the wait list, even if it's MONTHS away. As adults we need to do what we can to get the very best for our children. The way in which our appointment went - I can say that I was dissatisfied with a multitude of things and the way in which it all was presented. Again - Look into children's Hospital mental health instead. It's completely worth that wait.
