Do not take your Jeep here for service. We took our Cherokee in for service in December with a list of items to either evaluate or repair. We drop it off in the service lane and they drive it off. The next morning we get a call that the ignition is broken....have never had a problem with that. $550. They call back the next day and say the ignition is fixed but the transmission linkage is also broken, they can't get it into gear??? $700 Also, not something we took it in for. We talked to both the service manager and after getting no satisfaction, the dealership general manager. We told them to just get the transmission so we could drive it and we would take it somewhere else. They reduced the cost of the ignition switch by a bit but were absolutely not going to take the blame for either issue. We took it home and the next morning the car wouldn't start. They didn't put the battery connection back on correctly. We took it to Mac Haik Jeep (Awesome service department) They determined that the initial issue was probably a bad battery-(Not the ignition switch). Made a whole lot more sense. They they actually did the work we took it in for orginally. And they were definitely more customer friendly and knowledgeable.
