We moved to BC from California last year and had complex taxes. Hutcheson & Co provided excellent tax returns, well organized, with clear information.
But...
Communicating from Hutcheson was dismal. An initial meeting of 40 minutes to discuss their services resulted in a surprise bill for $450. They kept asking asked questions about our returns that they already had the answers to. They didn't let us know when our taxes would be done without us asking, and when we finally got our complete returns it was just 3-4 days before the filing deadline for the US and we had to scramble to get bank drafts and have the returns sent.
I am left wondering if their otherwise excellent work is worth the added stress
