I have a recipe box that was my Mothers probably dating late 30s early 40s. Green top and cream bottom. It was in our kitchen as far back as I can remember. Ohio Art Co. Made in U. S. A. Bryan, Ohio stamped on bottom. Do I have the dates correct? As I try to remember things about this metal recipe box, could this have been an Avon premium? It seems to me Avon (which my aunt was a representative of) had some things with these colors. Perhaps it came with food coloring inside. Is there some way to research this?
