First impression not good. I needed to get a new birth certificate. Planned the whole late afternoon to go with a friend once she got out of work. Directions, T schedule, hours open, station info, parking, etc. We get there and, unfortunately, the hours of City Hall shown on the website do not tell you that some departments close earlier. It said the hours were 830am-500pm. The one I needed closed at 400pm. All that travel became a complete waste of time and now I needed to do the whole trip all over again the next day due to needing the birth certificate for an appt. to get a passport. It would be a good idea to post individual dept. hours. That way, people like me who have to travel a distance along with it being time consuming, just to get to Boston, can plan without it being a waste of time. I will say that some of the employees were very nice.
