I am not sure about this company s hype. I found this company, Vortex, to either be incompetent or dishonest: I had all my bathrooms remodeled and completely repiped recently. In an inspection; hMike declared leaks and no pea trap in my newly remodeled bathrooms along with a $14,000. bill to repair it all. I called my contractor out and paid for another hydrostatic test to be done by a company that specializes in leak detection. They were confused as to why I called them out after their inspection. I told them about Vortex s results. The men told me(put in writing) their results were completely different. Vortex provided a cost of repairs to tallying $14,000. This did not include all the repair to all the tile they would dismantle and its cost to reinstall. I was in the bedroom at one point when he was determining there was pea trap . I heard him ask his associate on the outside if he could hear him several times. Finally, the guy responded yes. He put on the inspection that there was no pea trap in my $40;000 bathroom. My contractor said that was simply untrue. I was told it would smell disgusting if there was no pea trap. I am about to get a third inspection tp equalize the two completely different reports. I suggest you proceed with caution with this company.
