The Sterling Renaissance festival provides a bounty of good food and entertainment. Upon entering the festival one feels totally immersed in a different culture, and the actors make sure of that. They never break character, are dressed in elegant and historically accurate costumes, and constantly interact with the visitors. They all seem to enjoy their jobs and are nothing but friendly to the visitors. The shows are all entertaining and the shops are filled with different and equally interesting crafts. Not to mention the setting; the trees provide shade, making it cool and comfortable, and provide protection from rain(it has rained every year I have gone!) The festival is amazing and I have had an amazing time every single year I've gone!
