Michael Bilow Review of Cattlemens Steakhouse

My wife and I ate there tonight. I had the Prime Rib Eye (with salad, baked potato and dinner rolls), she had the Petite Sirloin with same sides. Our bill was slightly north of $55. That justified one of the best bottles of wine I've ever had that ran $50.
A month ago, we ate at Peter Lugers in NYC. Seriously, Lugers is the top steak house in NYC and one of the best in the USA. I can promise anyone that the steak at Cattleman's Cafe is far superior to what I had at Peter Lugers. I will grant that the atmosphere was very different (in New York, you'll get white tablecloths).
I spent $105 for two great steaks and a great bottle of wine at Cattleman's Cafe in OKC. I spent $230 for two steaks, a beer and a glass of wine in NYC. I'll choose Cattleman's any day!
UPDATE: I cannot believe the number of people that are complaining about their under or over cooked steaks. Our waitress asked us to cut into our steak WHILE SHE STOOD AT THE TABLE to ensure they were cooked according to our preference. And don't even get me started on somebody who ordered their steak well done. They should have gone to McDonald's. In fact, most steakhouses have a clause on their menu that they are not responsible for steaks ordered well done! YUCK!
