I've had excellent luck with Acer products, until I received my newest laptop. The speakers never worked, and eventually the charging port stopped working. I sent it in for warranty repair, and suddenly it's cracked at the charging port (it was not before I sent it), and they want $289 to fix that before they would even look at anything else. After some research, it's a $15 part that my husband replaced in twenty minutes, and the speaker issue was simply because they were never plugged in at the factory. This entire experience with this warranty claim has been ridiculous, and of course, none of it is their fault. Their rates for repair are robbery.
