This restaurant is traditional DC. The ambiance is older, the staff very friendly and professional. It's not a place you casually walk into and eat a dinner. I came here with my wife for our anniversary dinner and left feeling extremely full. We did the set menu and the best way to describe the food was just...heavy. It's fancy food and creative but lacks a pop. I wouldn't come back to this restaurant, buts it's only because I prefer lighter courses.
