I recently volunteered with a local conservation group and had an incredible experience. The organization I worked with, rmfi.org, was dedicated to preserving and restoring natural areas. They were very organized and had a clear mission. The staff was passionate and helpful. I highly recommend getting involved with them if you are interested in protecting the environment.
