I stayed in the resident program for 1 month in June. Everything ppl say here is true. Did amazing things for me. Some key points I was worried about going in.

"June is gonna be the rainy season"
Honestly the weather kept things entertaining. Unlike Vancouver where it just rains and never stops, it was still sunny 70% of the time and would just pour for like 20mins every other day. And it's still warm!

"Maybe it's not for me if If never suffered from addiction"
Nah, honestly in my time addiction reasons although a significant portion of residents was by no means the norm. Don't give it another thought.

"Is a month not long enough? Too long"
I found it good for what I wanted out of it. I could see how longer would be beneficial as well. But I got a lot out of it in just a month and felt like I had achieved what I wanted. Generally their guideline of 1-3 months I think is spot on.

Summer months are generally less busy too. So if you want that kinda feel and not the place at full capacity May-July is a good time to go I'd say. There's advantages to both times thou.

If you have questions feel free to reply to this comment. Happy to be an ambassador for the program.
