I ve stayed at the Westin a number of times for personal stays as well as business. Overall, it s a fine hotel - rooms are average size, clean, bathrooms are good. City view or lake view, both are lovely! Conference services are professional and responsive and food is delicious. Lobby lounge is comfortable and lively, with attentive staff. Drawbacks include the most finicky key card system that demagnetises on a regular basis. Location is convenient for events at Scotiabank Arena, visiting Toronto Island or travelling from Union Station, but there aren t a lot of restaurant options, shopping is far away and there s not much to do in the evenings unless you have concert or game tickets.
