I work as a firefighter/EMT for the city and I drop pts off to the ER quiet often. For a change I had to go to the ER for a obvious dislocated and broken toe. After having my foot xrayed, the doctor comes in and says it's just swollen. I disagreed and asked if they could take a second look. A nurse comes back in and confirms that my toe is broken. They didn't reset it, just buddy taped it and gave me discharge paper work and told me to follow up with an orthopedic doctor. In the morning, I look over my paperwork and found out that I was prescribed Norco but the prescription was never given to me nor was I told that I was being issued a pain killer. They rush so many pt's through that ER that the quality of care suffers. I'm highly disappointed with AMH and will forever look at them in a different light.
