Circle in the Square Theatre is a rather small Broadway theater but with pretty big importance. Its seating capacity of 840 still classifies it as a Broadway theater and gives the venue a rather boutique feeling. It is located in the Paramount Plaza building.
The stage of the Circle in the Square has seen some iconic shows through the ages. The likes of Coastal Disturbances; Oil City Symphony, Oklahoma!, Once on This Island, and Anna Karenina have all graced its stage. The latest show pre pandemic was American Buffalo. The whole plot revolves around a Buffalo nickel, and the plans of Don, Bobby, Teach and Fletcher s plans to steal it back. An iconic shows with several stints on Broadway, the story of their failed attempt to still the nickel back would certainly draw attention every night on Broadway!
