Hard to judge, but my impression after a year was not good. Media department stressed "theory-first" ciriculum, yet charged out-of-pocket costs in required classes for old useless equipment. Had many friends leave after their first year, and that's not even counting housing. Sleep was impossible thanks to the LLC buildings, you just get stuck there because the towers aren't much better. Had a few good teachers, but the bad ones were rotten to the core. Had to walk out of two classes because the syllabus was a joke. Anyone saying it's better than Chicago is just sick of chicago, this town in a dump compared to the rest of illinois.
