If I could give 0 stars I would. How Loma Linda Academy handled this student exposure policy situation that took place on 9/16/21 was completely unacceptable. Starting off, the method used for contact tracing was inaccurate and was completely disorganized. Some students that were in contact with the infected student were not notified that they could have been exposed earlier in the day. Second of all, the people in charge did not know their own policy to those unvaccinated students. Not only was this mistake threatening to the safety of all the students involved. Parents of unvaccinated exposed children were called to pick up their child as soon as possible and told to quarantine for 10 days but later within that day, they were informed to bring their child back to resume classes in person. Despite the students being able to continue on campus learning, they are not allowed to go to any extra curricular events such as outdoor events including sports, beach day, etc which is illogical because at school they would be in an enclosed space in a room filled with many students. For the amount that is paid for students to attend Loma Linda Academy, how this contact tracing of a positive covid case was handled is outrageous.
