I would give it 5 stars if Mr. Everheart was still the principal. Both my children went here and my daughter graduated in 2016. We loved it. Staff was warm, friendly and above all else, caring. Which I m sure is still true today except the the principal my son had. He was cold, uncaring and preparing the kids for jail and prison. He gives no slack. He kicked my son out for taking his friend to the hospital who was very sick and ended up passing away a few months later. I would never send a kid I knew to this school with the same principal that came in to replace Mr. Everheart. I m not comparing them because there is no comparison but I expect someone that cares, loves kids and will do everything they can to help them. Not everything they can to kick good kids out or harden them up for the prison life. My son is a great kid, athlete who has since gone on to college. He unfortunately has had no help from leadership at Eagle. The teachers and support staff are warm, helpful and welcoming and caring as they could be. I can t say enough good things about them. I am grateful to them. They go out of their way always above and beyond. But this principal must go. I do not have a child who attends and I have no reason to give a bad review other than the truth of my horrible experience when my son had to drop out school because he was kicked out for little and unwarranted reasons. Most kids will not go back after being treated horribly as often that is the reason they are there in the 1st place. My son was was already struggling to finish which is why we decided to go their in the 1st place. And it was more strict than a regular day program as they don t make you go home if you are a few minutes late.
