Betasoft Systems: BIGGEST SCAM in the Bay Area

Betasoft Systems: BIGGEST SCAM in the Bay Area

SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.I recently moved out to Fremont, California to begin my career and be an independent, working individual. I came out to California with very little in my bank account and I researched some staffing agencies in my area.

Betasoft Systems, located at 42808 Christy Street 101, Fremont, popped up in my google search. I spoke with Vikram Jeet Kaushal, a technical recruiter for the company. He assured me that BetaSoft was a staffing company and would place me at a company as a Business Analyst after my training program. The training program lasted about 6 weeks, my instructor was wonderful, unfortunately he wouldn't get to class until an hour or so after class had already started. We didn't touch any of the main projects and modules until week 3! I was very disappointed, but went along with this program.

Later, I found that in my contract, they mentioned making up 8 years of false experience to each student's resume in order to market them as senior business and quality analysts. This way, the students would receive maybe $30 an hour and BetaSoft would receive more than 50% of each student's paycheck. If this isn't scaring you away from this company, let me tell you more.

They take a $1000 security deposit from you, after several months of training, they say they will give it back. My issue with the company was the fake work experience. Not only is that unethical, but it is 100% ILLEGAL. (If you sign the contract with this company, it is automatically void because they are doing illegal activity.) After I told them time and time again, that I refuse to make up experience on my resume and lie to companies, and that I want my security deposit back, they refused several times. They said the $1000 paid for their training costs. Training started about 2 hours late every day, and we didn't touch any real topics until week 3, so my question is, what training am I paying for? The training I didn't receive?

Bottom line, DO NOT join this company and please tell all your friends and family that move to the Bay area to beware of BetaSoft Systems.
