This review is based on family experiences with Friendship Village. We were looking for a property for my parents to move into after selling their large home. We took a tour, and even ate in the dining room one evening. The food was below average and the average age of the residents was 89 according to the staff. The property is sprawling. The buy-in/ refund price structure seemed like a good idea though. We toured the Memory Care wing, and heard a heartbreaking story of 2 male roommates, and one accidentally killed his roommate by pushing him out of bed. My Mother decided to give the rehab facility a try after a hip replacement. The staff were not kind and rude. There was NO WAY she would ever go back to Friendship Village after that experience.
We are SO HAPPY we kept looking for a better run company and facility. The Water's or Jones-Harrison are much better options for senior living.
