Beautiful and unique town hall that consists of three parts, each with a different year and style. On the left is the Palace of the Great Council. This beautiful building was erected in 1526 with the intention of organizing the meetings of the Great Council there. These days, the Keldermanszaal is often used for weddings.
It is known from the middle part that the Belfry's bell tower was included on the UNESCO list.
The right-hand part is the Cloth Hall which dates from the 14th century and which was used for the trade in textile products.
Very nice is the combination of the 3 parts to act together since 1914 as a town hall. The beautiful and stylish courtyard makes the whole even more impressive. The ship's college is at the rear here.
