Obviously one of the places you ll want to visit while in DC (if you re here as a tourist). You must make a reservation to visit the interior, which can be done for free online, but if you don t you won t be getting inside (plan on doing this a day in advance or more if you re visiting in a busy period); otherwise, all you ll be able to do is take pictures from outside, which is still very impressive.
