This is awful! I've been trying to get in touch with department of labor since the week I was laid off. Told I had to speak to a representative to reopen a claim just to be hung up on or told to visit the website. After we weeks of trying I went to the website where it didn't even give me the correct options for the dates. Went to the hamden office and was told to enter whatever return date the computer would let me and they would fix it! Yeah right. They paid me for the week I was back to work and not for the week I was out. How incompetent does it get? They took back the reduced payment I got for the week I worked.....which I shouldn't have received and still have not been paid for the week I was out. SERIOUSLY!!! And now back to square one and can't even get a representative back on the phone to have their mess up corrected. So much for groceries again this week!
