Absolutely amazing palace only 25 mins away from Paris. 10 times less people which means you can visit the palace and grounds in peace. The gardens are very impressive and the palace itself is also amazing but on top of that they have a great art museum which is relatively untouched since the 19th century. As well as this if you come at the right time you can watch demonstration dressage shows for free. I also recommend the cottage restaurant which has truly amazing Chantilly deserts. All in all this is one of my favourite palaces in France and one of my best trips in France so far. Tip, get the TER pack to get return travel to Paris and entrance to Chantilly for only 25. You can buy it at any ticket office or the green Picardy TER machines opposite the Picardy TER platforms.
