Take the tour, it s worth it. There are a few flights to climb, but not continuous. Wear good shoes!
The history is impressive - and quite violent. Our tour guide was a former Naval officer and actually lives on the premises - plus he was hilariously funny. Do NOT take pictures in the chapel - it infuriates them if you break the rules.
