This underfunded and hard working organization helps people escaping violent, dangerous and horrible governments. As a volunteer, I provided rides to the grocery store once a week for six months. It was one of the best volunteer experiences I have ever had. The family I worked with was warm and didn't have the interpersonal barriers that many Americans have. They also reminded me to laugh and enjoy what you have now. I notice another post above putting down this organization for helping "foreigners". I will assume the person who posted that is a native tribal person. Supporting refugees does not prevent you from helping other Americans. #OneFamily
