I recently went on a tour of the Whakarewarewa Thermal Village and it was an incredible experience. The knowledgeable guides took us through the village, explaining the history and culture of the Maori people. The geothermal activity was fascinating to see, with steam rising from the ground and mud pools bubbling away. It was a unique and educational tour that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Rotorua. The guides were friendly and passionate about sharing their culture with us, and I left with a newfound appreciation for the Maori way of life. Overall, a fantastic experience!
