A wonderful little theatre, tucked away on the far north side of the city, that adapts novels into plays and always finds clever ways to make the most ambitious stories -- Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, Treasure Island -- come to life brilliantly. Dinner at Heartland Cafe (just down the street) followed by a play at Lifeline usually makes a solid evening plan.
