I cant speak about the service they provide. But as a perspective employer I'd advise to avoid this company.

The interview process with the IT Manager began before Christmas. I was told I was the best candidate but to wait until after New Years to meet the Senior Network Engineer. After meeting him on the 8th I received a call from the IT Manager later that day telling me I was the guy they wanted. I was offered a good starting salary and was told it was a done deal but the company owner had to sign off on the hire and salary. I had informed the IT Manager that I also had a solid offer from CompuCom and that I chose Anchor. But if there was any chance of this not going through, I did not want to lose my opportunity with CompuCom. The next day I get an e mail from the IT Manager assuring me its all good and he expects the owner to sign off on my hire by the end of the day. By 4PM I get an email rescinding the offer, vague excuse as to why. Now its too late to accept the job at CompuCom since they started another round of interviews and removed me from consideration. So I went from having 2 solid job offers to having NO JOB at all. All because of reprehensible hiring practice at Anchor Computer.

I tried asking the IT manager to reconsider, I even sent an email to the CEO asking him to reconsider but I got the sound of crickets in response. Be advised that not only is there mixed reviews of this companies office culture on Indeed and Glassdoor, but you need to beware of a job offer from Anchor. Apparently "hiring managers" dont have the authority to "actually hire" anyone until the owner and CEO signs off. Don't quit your job to work here and if you have multiple job offers, DROP Anchor. (Pun Intended).

I was extremely enthusiastic about this job. it was the exact job I had been seeking and it would have given me tons of experience. The disappointment of having this dangled like raw meat in front of a starving dog, then snatched away is indescribable. They caused me and my family major distress with their terrible hiring practices. I may complain to the Dept of Labor and even seek council from a labor attorney on this matter.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!
