Arguably the best mountain Inn of Lake Tahoe. Other favorites Kirkwoods and Sierra on Powder days. At Squaw Valley you can hang out next to the fire after you're done in the evening or grab dinner . Northstar is a fun place to go skiing or snowboarding, but it does not have the amount of difficult Terrain that you find at Squaw Valley. Northstar does offer ice skating , music and a series of fire pits all in the central area for hanging out during the day or in the evening after riding , which is the only feature that I prefer over Squaw Valley. Kirkwood and Sierra have a great training but don't have the evening atmosphere.
