My family has a love hate relationship with this hotel. We stay here a couple times a year at least. The location is good. Easy access via the free boat across the river, or an easy drive. The staff is friendly, and the facilities are nice enough. If your traveling on busy dates (around holidays or events) just know you re likely to have long waits. Our room took nearly four hours past check in on one occasion to be ready, and on several other occasions there have been long waits. I now, call ahead to let them know our arrival time and ask them to ensure the room will be ready. With that being said, they always do their best to make up for the inconvenience (comped nights, free food, etc) so all in all we ve been satisfied.
