Do Not Risk Staying Here. I m sure this was a nice hotel at one point but now that it is in liquidation it is not well run.
We arrived at the hotel around 10 PM at night to a story of our rooms not being available because of a computer error. We had 3 rooms booked, the manager kept saying they only had us down for 2. We showed the manager the reservation confirmation for 3 rooms, but he kept insisting we only had 2. The manager stated he was trying to get us a room at a sister property.
While this was going on, another guest locked themselves out of their room. The night manager could not find the spare key and handed the guest a Key Ring with 20-30 keys and said try one of these, there should be a master on there someplace. The scary thing about this is the manager handed over a bunch of keys to various rooms to a hotel guest!!
After about an hour and a half of trying to find a place to put us, the manager put us in a cab and told us the name of the hotel they were sending us to. Turns out the manager was sending us to a different hotel, a 3 star instead of 4 star, and told the cabbie not to say anything to us. The cabbie ignored the manager and told us what was going on. At this point it was 1 AM and we didn t care, we just needed hotel rooms to get kids to sleep.
We reserved a total of 5 beds across 3 rooms. The hotel they sent us to said they could only give us 2 rooms with 2 beds. The rooms we were given did not have air conditioning and did not have private bathrooms. We ended up having to purchase a third room.
After this, we called the website we used to book the travel. When the travel website contacted the hotel about the issue, the hotel claimed it was our fault and that we requested the change when we checked in. The hotel refused to admit their error.
