I have been renting from the Housing Authority of New Orleans for several years now, and overall, I am satisfied with their services. The staff is friendly and helpful, and maintenance requests are usually addressed in a timely manner. The rent is reasonable, and I appreciate the fact that they have programs in place to assist low-income individuals like myself. However, there have been a few instances where I had to follow up multiple times on maintenance requests, and I would appreciate it if they could improve their communication in that regard. Nonetheless, I would still recommend HANO to others looking for affordable housing options.
