Very disappointing experience here.
We came looking for our very first cat - stressing to all the volunteers that we were first time pet owners. We were given a cat and assured that he was going to be perfect for first time pet owners.
At first we thought he was just timid, but after doing research I've learned that this cat is feral and does not trust humans.
I would've expected a bit more consideration for people who said they were looking for their first time pet.

The organisation (Gladesville) is very unorganised, and there is not really any space to bond with the cats. At one point we were left alone in a room full of twenty odd cats for about ten minutes.

I would recommend any other organisation - this one is not suitable for first time pet owners.
