The MBC is located on the third floor of a building next door to Marina City. It gives you a peek into world of radio and television, from the early radio shows to television in the 90's. There is a collection of old tv's and radios that is quite impressive. Having grown up in Chicago in the 1960's, I geeked out over the Bozo, Captain Kangaroo, and Ray Rayner exhibits. I did, however, find many of the exhibits to be a bit thin. I can see where they can expand.

The crowning glory of the visit was The SNL Experience. It will be at the MBC until December of 2018. The exhibit takes you from beginning to end in a typical week preparing for the live performance of Saturday Night Live. There are video clips from shows through the last 40+ years running throughout the exhibit. There are costumes, pieces of and recreations of sets. It is a must-see for SNL fans.
