My daughter went to the Gallatin ER for severe pain as her Dr had suggested. She was put in a room with no blankets, no pillows, no call button, (she asked for a blanket and was never given one). When I brought this to the Dr's attention, she simply nodded. They told her they were going to start fluids, and after 4 hours never did. The urine specimen she gave never made it to the lab. They did offer to take another specimen.

Now I realize the ER is not a hotel, and there are people with critical and life threatening injuries and sometimes you have to wait. I get that. What I do not understand was the complete lack of any empathy. The Dr I spoke with was very curt and dismissive. I could even let that slide, IF they had done anything to help her. Instead she was sent home with a promise to call her with an appointment for another procedure. This ER is completely lacking in a lot of areas!
