This is our favorite resort in the whole Lake Tahoe area! It gets the most snow every season, and it never gets too crowded (not like Heavenly with 30 min waiting for a gondola) thanks to a imitated parking.
Be mindful of snowstorms, because cal-trans closes Carson pass when there is a lot of snowfall.
