I d give 0 stars if it were an option. Leer inc in Carroll Iowa doesn t support single parents. Especially HR Lisa Katzer. For one, she s super condescending and disrespectful, and Incredibly fake. Their point system is a joke. I worked there for a little over 60 days and got fired for having 3 points. Point 1 was for burying my truck in the snow during a snow storm, had to call in. Point 2 was because school and daycare were shut down from another snowstorm. Point 3 was for a dead truck battery in -23 degree wind chill and more snow. They expect you to play god and know the weather and fill out a weather slip everyday. Come on.. they re also using my vacation and PTO time used against me. A vacation that was planned before employment. Would you rather an employee fill out a weather slip and use PTO and get paid to miss work, or them use a point and not having to pay them for having to stay home because of bad weather? No brainer to me. I feel completely disrespected. Especially them knowing my situation of having my son 100% of the time. Moral of the story, LEER INC in Carroll doesn t support single parents, and doesn t care about your safety
