The Birthroot midwives are wonderful, kind, supportive, experienced, loving, knowledgeable, personable... they are everything good! They take their time getting to know you (and your family) so you develop a relationship and can really trust their care by the time baby comes. They explain everything clearly. There is nothing you can't ask about, and since they don't rush through appointments, you actually have time to think of questions and be heard.
The Birth Center is homey enough to feel comfortable while professional enough to feel like a very hygienic and safe place to birth your child. There is a lot of natural light, lots of space to move about in the birthing room, and many options to support different birthing positions.
Each of the three midwives is amazing in her own way. Because you get to know each of them, you know you won't end up with a stranger delivering your baby, no matter what day it comes. I have given birth twice at Birthroot and both times I felt incredibly thankful for the support and guidance given to me by this wonderful team.
