If patient wants to transition to another facility they will make sure it s not easy to do in order to keep getting the insurance money. Why wouldn t you want to help a patient find treatment that might better suit them, instead they regulate phone calls when patients try to seek another facility and will just escort you off the property without any assistance. I can t even get in contact with my mother to help assist her transition into another facility because her reasoning isn t what they want to hear this is becoming more stressful than it needs to be while you guys bill her insurance for $1000s by the day. Never knew my mom checking herself in rehab would be feeling like she s in jail not a good feeling at all.
