If you care about your schooling, consider the program that you are going here for. They put more care into their nursing, ota, pta, welding, drafting, computer science, and other full blooded programs. The rest of their school seems to be just fluff. A large portion of their money goes into sports and propaganda. If you decide to go here to explore college career options or start with a two year liberal arts degree I caution you. While there are a few golden eggs, many of the teachers here are very poor. From being graded arbitrarily for watching a movie then to be tested about it a week and a half down the road, to being given random rubrics on writing down what you learned (even at the beginning of the semester). I don't know if the Deans know of this problem or if they just aren't paying attention but there are problems in this school right now. Be very careful of the teachers you choose. You may not learn anything if you don't remain vigilant and cautious. With all of that said, I just want to reiterate that there are some very good and praiseworthy teachers here. You just need to do your research first. I would suggest talking to them and getting a feel for what they are all about. Also, be very wary of the science department. There was where I had some of my worst experiences with teachers. Looking at you Mr. Robert Jung.
