The night before my wife and I got married, one of my groomsmen showed up at the Waterloo Inn without having made a reservation. Since I was originally planning on staying at the hotel on my own, I told him that he could share my room on one condition: that he not mess up the room, because my soon-to-be wife and I would be staying there the next day.

Fast forward to the afternoon, hours before the wedding ceremony is about to start. I get back from the barber's and I find that my groomsman is just waking up, the bathroom is a mess, towels everywhere and I realize that the room would not be cleaned in time for later that evening.

I explained the situation to the staff at the Waterloo Inn and they were incredible. They understood the situation, and generously offered the Prime Minister's Suite. I was completely blown away by how gracefully and professionally the entire situation was handled.

I have also had the opportunity to attend many events at the Waterloo Inn and have always been impressed with the staff and venue.
