I've been hospitalized three times at this hospital. The nurses are for the most part nice. However, the doctors are running a business and it shows. Patient care is not their priority. The ER doctors will slap a diagnosis on you to get you out of there. They double up patient in the rooms in Observation even during a pandemic, and even when the patients have not been tested for COVID. (I'm know because they've put me with another guy in observation even though I had not been tested yet.) This is reckless. The hospitalists do not listen to their patients. They just want you in and out. Overall this is a mediocre hospital with a mediocre administration. The patient portal seems right at home in the late 1990s. I've also been to Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) which was an entirely different and much better experience. JHH is now my hospital of choice, despite the travel time.
